Have your say: PRO-WILD stakeholder survey on crop wild relatives

PRO-WILD is conducting a stakeholder survey, led by Robert Home (FiBL), to better understand how breeders and researchers use crop wild relatives (CWR) and what their most pressing research needs are. Your insights will directly help shape the project’s research agenda on CWR for climate resilience and sustainable breeding.

The European PRO-WILD project (www.pro-wild.eu) is working to protect and promote wild relatives of wheat, sugar beet, and oilseed rape. These crop wild relatives (CWR) hold valuable traits that can help breeders improve nutritional quality and strengthen resilience to pests, diseases, and climate change.

To make sure our work responds to real needs, PRO-WILD is conducting a stakeholder survey, led by Robert Home (FiBL). We are inviting breeders and researchers to share their experience, challenges, and priorities related to CWR.

Your responses will directly inform the project's research agenda and help shape future strategies. The survey takes about 10 minutes, and while your responses will remain confidential, they will not be anonymous. This is to allow the project team to follow up with you if needed — your data will be handled in line with GDPR requirements.

Thank you for helping us ensure that the voices of breeders and researchers are heard in shaping the future of crop wild relatives.
